I'm excited and grateful to be back on stage after more than a year. I'll be performing/reading my piece, "Southern Bell(e)" 1970, Columbia, SC.
Jill flunked out of college, and her colonel father, now home from Vietnam, refuses to spend one more dime on her college education. Desperate, Jill applies for a full-time job as a long-distance operator. They’ll pay for her schooling if she vows to make a lifetime commitment to the company, so she lies to get the job.
Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
