PINE HILLS REVIEW

An unemployed actress finds herself alone, forty years old and unemployed. Out of desperation, she takes a job working the front desk of the hottest aerobic studio in New York City, where she observes the obsessed women who work out there. She’s trying to hold on, but her husband isn’t sending any money, and she’s barely scraping by on her part-time, $12 an hour job.

THE MacGUFFIN

Inspired by my experience of doing a table read for the film, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. After playing a grieving mother on the TV show, Law & Order, I was recommended to the director Donald Petrie. Our meeting was a bit confusing, but I landed the job. However, no matter how much I prepared or how conscientious I was, everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

Unbeknownst to her, USARUER is in charge of all military operations across Eurasia. She does know if her father ever finds out, he will ground her for the rest of her life.

However, the reality of being a working actress in New York City turned out to be quite different than she imagined.
